The Land of Sky

Somewhere

Azure acres spread

Blissful blue bleeds unbounded

And golden sunlight anticipates the soul.

We may never reach it,

The Land of Sky

We may never see

Its startling beauties lie

But merely in the knowing

It is with a smile we may die.

  2. It’s interesting that you and Jon posted these poems with such coincidence, as the two seem to be similar in theme. Your piece strikes me as a statement regarding the “I believe because it makes me happy” ideology that pervades so much of every religion these days. What I don’t know is what statement you are making exactly…
