You can Never Lay Hold of That for which You do not Reach
Watch me climb these walls,
Though they be steep and tall.
And stare then at me in disdain
For challenging my mortal cage,
And daring to reach for the stars
Which my touch would only mar.
Still I ask for your trust,
Not in you, nor I, but in us.
And all that we may achieve
Through fragile hopes and futile dreams.
