In the End

Life is boring, life is dull.
Sweep along in its ceaseless lull.
Glass half empty, glass half full?
What’s the difference in the end?

Let’s continue on this path.
Lack of passion, love, or wrath.
In apathy, let it all pass.
What’s the difference in the end?

To run or walk? To pass or play?
To run the light? To go or stay?
Why does it matter anyway?
What’s the difference in the end?

Life goes on. No one cares for the glass.
Passion is important on every path.
Choices matter, just not the ones passed.
And that’s the difference in the end.

  1. Wow, this is good! You see, you have the inner-voice, too. Express it! (I’d say “yourself,” but Madonna pretty much ruined that phrase. Thanks.) Keep working on your voice, Greg. Keep refining it, keep exploring it, keep letting it run wild. I love the results so far!

    Just thought it’d help.😉

  2. Thanks for pointing those out. I rarely proofread.

  3. Granted, but proper grammar and spelling are never underrated.
