The Weapons We Wield

the_pen.jpgIf words are swords, we swing them well

The blade goes deep. The wound won’t swell

The cut is clean, it severs the limb

Vicious swords swung on a whim

And if words be a gun, we’re quick to fire

These flashing barrels never tire

Be it friend or foe, no matter what you do

As long as you live, you’re a target too
